Endpage and optimized the 3D asset for Discovery Turbo’s special programming block, October Fast, focused on high-speed racing content.

The Challenge
Create a high-impact endpage that connected the Oktoberfest reference in the title with the idea of speed. The 3D asset also needed to be optimized for fast internal updates, without compromising visual quality or requiring full re-renders.

The Solution
I brought a pre-existing 3D muscle car asset to life in a fully animated, premium endpage. Dynamic camera movements, atmospheric effects, and motion design were used to match Discovery Turbo’s visual standards, while keeping the asset lightweight and editable for the internal team.

The core solution was a highly customizable After Effects template. The baked 3D animation and effects were combined with live text layers, allowing the in-house team to update broadcast details such as day and time instantly without re-rendering the 3D scene. This ensured efficiency without sacrificing visual quality.
